Laudato sie Curators Honored with award

The Centro Italiano di Scotismo recently hosted a feast in honor of Blessed John Duns Scotus at the Pontificia Università Antonianum in Rome. During the celebration, the Laudato si’ award, established by the Commissione Scotista, was presented to the curators of the acclaimed exhibition Laudato sie: Nature and Science.
The exhibition, which closed on October 12 at the Sacred Convent of St. Francis in Assisi, marked the conclusion of a year-long celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Brother Sun. Organized by the St. Francis Day Foundation with the Sacred Convent and the Italian Academy Foundation, Laudato sie showcased 93 rare manuscripts and early printed works, tracing the dialogue between Franciscan spirituality and scientific discovery through the centuries.

While the exhibition has concluded, the spirit of Laudato sie continues. Visitors can still explore the online shop, featuring beautifully crafted prints and artisan creations inspired by the manuscripts.
