The Italian rock band, Maneskin, win big at the American Music Awards 2022

The Italian rock band, Maneskin, won big at the American Music Awards 2022. Beating the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the musicians were awarded for “Favorite Rock Song” with their song Beggin’. The hit single had previously topped the Spotify world chart dethroning Olivia Rodrigo ‘s Good 4 U and became the second most listened to song in the world in summer 2021. The Italian group also saw a victory in the “Favorite Soundtrack” category with their feature on the Elvis film soundtrack.

The Roman quartet is set to perform at the 65th edition of the Grammy Awards, for which they received their first ever nomination in the Best New Artist category. They also saw their collaboration on the Elvis soundtrack nominated for “Best Compilation”.

After winning the Eurovision last year, the Italian rock stars have seen great success with their sold-out US tour and appearances on the world’s biggest stages. Their new album RUSH! is set to be released on January 20.
