Italian Street Artist Alicé Pasquini creates murals New York
During April 2014, renowned Italian street artist Alicé Pasquini left her mark on New York City while on a visit to the East coast. Pasquini completed three painted murals.
The first is located on the side of an abandoned restaurant in Rockaway beach. The picture is part of an initiative by Beautify Earth to reinvigorate areas hit by Hurricane Sandy.
The second is located in Jersey City. The painting plays off of “New Jersey” with the phrase “New Journey.” There is a message of hope and new beginning in this work.
The last piece in her triptych is on a 30-foot-by-40-foot wall shared by the Muscota New School and the Amistad Dual Language School on Long Island.
In addition to her three story mural, Pasquini produced a painting in Little Italy for the L.I.S.A. Project NYC (a group dedicated to promoting street art in Little Italy).
