“Made in Italy” with Liam Neeson filmed in Montalcino

James D’Arcy’s new film is set in Montelcino, Tuscany and revisits a familiar storyline – ex-patriates restore a country villa and encounter cultural and personal challenges in the process – with the twist of a father-son dynamic woven into the theme. Made in Italy starts Liam Neeson and Micheál Richardson as his son. The house reflects a charged emotional situation, as each character struggles for his joy.

With travel from the US to Italy banned in 2020, the film provides a refreshing look at the Tuscan landscape and Italian lifestyle details – thanks to cinematographer Mike Eley.

The film is available for streaming.
