Car Show: Art & Motion – The Influence of Futurism on Design

Speed, Velocity and Design: Futurism in Motion. Futurism was the first cultural and artistic movement to glorify speed, chaos, fighting, dynamism, and energy per se. The show aims to understand the pioneering and radical contribution that this movement brought to creativity in design, from automobiles to dinner plates. Enjoy an afternoon with Italian cars, food, wine, and music.

1:30pm until 6:00pm: Outdoor Classic Auto Display Italian sports cars such as Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini on display in Depot Square;

2:00pm to 3:30pm: Italian Food and Wine Tasting inside the Westchester Italian Cultural Center. Registration is required. Admission $15.00;

4:00pm to 4:30pm: Musicians in the Piazza, a concert for all, to enjoy while strolling around the square;

5:00pm: A panel of judges will rate the cars based on various characteristics. Trophies will be awarded to winners in each category.

5:30pm: Closing Remarks.
