The IAF organizes small group trips to select destinations in Italy. These are not the standard tourism. These excursions center around a musical or artistic event in the host city, and participants receive exclusive access performances. City walks, fine dining and high level conversation and camraderie are also a part of the plan.

In March 2012, the IAF is pleased to announce our first cultural itinerary : Bergamo. Our stay is timed for attending the citywide Festivale Internazionale di Cultura. During the day in this medieval city of Lombardy, we will explore the birthplace of Donizetti, the stunning cathedral and attend art exhibits and installations connected to the Festival. Evenings are for musical performances. From classical to modern to contemporary, these shows featured performers from around the world. The members of the IAF itinerary will have premium seating at these events.

During our stay, we will be savoring authentic local cuisine and learning about the cucina Lombardia.
