Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at New York University celebrated its 33rd anniversary on November 13th, 2023. Casa Italiana has succeeded in delivering rich Italian culture to the globally diverse community of New York City. The organization was founded in 1990 by Baroness Mariuccia Zerilli-Marimò and has since promoted the dissemination of Italian culture. This important milestone commemorates NYU and its significant efforts in preserving and diffusing Italian history and tradition.

These efforts include a variety of public events that discuss economic and political matters involving the United States and Italy. The organization additionally explores themes of Italian lifestyle through the promotion of Italian cinema, literature, and music. The organization provides a safe space for the Italian diasporic community in New York City, making it a vital element of NYU. Casa Italiana NYU also serves as a cultural hub that creates an essential dialogue between students and scholars of the United States and Italy.
