A recent article published by the IIC (Instituto Italiano di Cultura di New York) shared intentions to acknowledge the unique features of the Flaminio/Foro Italico/Farnesina urban area. The roundtable discussion scheduled for September 20th functions to emphasize the area’s extraordinary environmental and cultural heritage and advocates for its advancement. This region in Rome is abundant with bountiful parks, gardens, and outdoor spaces. Grand avenues reveal important architectural marvels spanning from the early 20th century to the contemporary era.

The efforts in place encompass a range of actions including urban revitalization and establishing fresh mobility infrastructure. Additionally, the Distretto del Contemporaneo aims to incorporate new art installations while fostering a more intimate and symbiotic connection with the Tiber River. The conference held by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York seeks to raise awareness about the Contemporary District, serving as a foundation for a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing this expansive urban center.
